How to get from birmingham city centre to solihull?

Can anyone tell me how i would travel from birmingham city centre to solihull please. Would i need to get on a train.

Can you buy a train pass for one month like buying a bus pass.

Bus: No 6 or 37 from City Centre Corporation St to Solihull town centre
You can buy a buspass for a month!

Train: Centro pass, from Moor St or Snow hill station. Will stop in Solihull train station, 10 mins walk to Solihull town centre.

    You can get a bus from the City centre, if you look on the council website it will show you where and when, look at the numbers 57 and 57a.

    You can also get a train, if you arrive at New Street it is a 5 mins walk to Moor Street.. you cant miss it!
    Once your at moor street there is a train to Solihull (will most likely say Dorridge as the destination check it goes to solihull) every 20 minutes, it will take about 13 mins to get there.

    As for a train pass, yes you can although i am not sure if it involves signing up for more than one month, you can check this at nationalrail.co.uk.

    There are trains from the Snow Hill and Moor St stations to Solihull five times per hour.

    You should be able to get a monthly season ticket. Inquire at the station. You’ll need a passport sized photo.
