What is the average cost to replace a cast iron plumbing stack in a one story house.?

I am buying a new house and I want to get an idea of how much it would be to replace the main plumbing stack before I go get an estimate from a plumber. Any ideas?
I would like to get an idea to decide wether or not to buy the house if it’s a huge expense. And I do want to replace with PVC.

Why are you going to replace the stack? This is not an easy job. Someone is going to have to strip the walls and maybe take up part of the floor. The cost of parts will not be very much, especially if you switch to pvc, probably a couple of hundred at the high end. Labor will be something else and the plumber will not be able to actually give an accurate estimate until the walls and floor is opened up and he sees what is going to have to be done. Not often that stacks go bad, there is nothing mechanical there to wear out. Cast iron will almost always out last the house.

kinda redundant to ask here first,
your still going to have to ask a plumber,
why not replace it with pvc , cheaper and lighter

why do you want to replace it .i have seen cast iron stacks over 100 years old and still working.and there quieter than pvc.but if you have to depending on how many walls have to be torn down .and is it on a cement slab about three hundred and up and most plumbers don’t repair the walls that have to come down there are to many variables to guess to close
